I wandered in off the street this afternoon to ask a question about early bronze age casting. I don’t know what I was expecting, but what followed was surprising. The staff have always been helpful and courteous, but today was exceptional. The knowledge, the time spent researching and the all around interest in my project was astonishing. After sixty years of constantly battling
bureaucracy I’ve resigned myself to expect mediocrity. I can’t thank you enough. You’ve rekindled my faith in academia and librariankind.
